Start with the basics -
Make sure you have your contact details clear on the front page of your resume, full name, email, and phone number should be at the top, also a link towards your LinkedIn profile so potential hiring managers can click straight through.
Be clear and consice -
There is no right or wrong answer to how long a CV should be, however it shouldn't be dragging on. If you feel like you’re adding information for the sake of it, it's best to remove it. 2-3 pages should be enough.
List your acheivements -
Make your CV stand out, have a dot points list of your achievements that you’re proud of throughout your career, bonus points if you can link the achievements to the roles or projects that you’re applying for.
Tailor your CV -
Having a generic CV as a draft is great, but if you can tailor and edit it for specific roles, it will help you go far. Relevancy and specifics. Same projects, same domains, same technologies, make sure to highlight these as much as possible.
Memorise your CV -
This is so you aren't stumbling in interviews when they bring up a specific part of your CV, and you can confidently elaborate on the experience.
