Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the delivery and evolution of key digital platform capabilities across API integration, CRM and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM). This is a key role within a large-scale digital transformation, working across technology and business teams to deliver seamless customer experiences across life insurance and wealth management products.

You will own the product roadmap, define priorities and partner with engineering, architecture, digital and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and customer-centric platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the product roadmap for Digital Platforms, including API Integration, CRM and CIAM capabilities.
  • Define and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business strategy and customer outcomes.
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture, UX and delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive delivery of customer identity, authentication, authorisation and digital onboarding capabilities.
  • Lead API strategy and integration initiatives across internal and external platforms.
  • Partner with CRM teams to improve customer engagement, service and operational efficiency.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across technology, digital, operations, risk and business functions.
  • Monitor product performance using data and customer insights to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security and compliance requirements within the financial services environment.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Owner delivering enterprise digital platforms.
  • Strong experience with API integrations and integration platforms.
  • Experience delivering CRM solutions (Salesforce, Dynamics 365 or similar).
  • Experience with Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), including authentication, identity management, SSO, OAuth or OpenID Connect.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
Highly Desirable
  • Experience within Life Insurance, Wealth Management or Superannuation.
  • Experience delivering digital customer portals, self-service platforms or omnichannel customer journeys.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements within Australian financial services.
  • Experience working within large-scale transformation programs.
