Business Analyst / Project Manager Contract | Sydney | Separation / Tech De-Merge Program
Overview
  • Stand-alone hybrid BA/PM role supporting a major technology separation and de-merger initiative.
  • Ideal for a strong BA with light PM experience.
  • Exposure to M&A, separation, or divestment projects beneficial but not essential.
  • Focus on analysis, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across the separation workstream.
  • Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Engage SMEs to gather requirements, map processes, and validate impacts.
  • Support planning and execution of technology de-merge activities.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Track risks, issues, and decisions; maintain project documentation.
  • Ensure alignment between business, technology, and external partners.
  • Provide clear and concise status updates to senior stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
  • 3–6+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, Junior PM, or hybrid BA/PM.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in technology delivery; separation or M&A experience advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of Agile or Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Highly organised with strong coordination and documentation capability.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
