An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced Information Security Leader to join a growing enterprise organisation and play a key role in shaping the future of its cyber security capability.
 
Working closely with the General Manager of Information Security, this role will act as a senior member of the security leadership team, supporting the ongoing maturity, governance and strategic direction of the function.
 
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Information Security Manager / Cyber Security Manager who enjoys operating across both cyber strategy and business engagement — someone who can translate security requirements into practical outcomes, build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across a complex enterprise environment.
 
With a strong succession pathway, this role provides the opportunity for an ambitious security professional to grow into broader leadership responsibility over time.
 
The Role

Reporting into the GM of Information Security, you will play a key role across:

• Supporting the development and execution of the information security strategy and roadmap
• Leading security governance, risk management and assurance activities
• Partnering with internal stakeholders, customers and external parties on security requirements
• Providing leadership and guidance across security initiatives, controls and improvement programs
• Supporting security maturity uplift across frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST and other industry standards
• Reviewing security risks, vulnerabilities and control effectiveness
• Supporting customer assurance activities, audits and regulatory requirements
• Working closely with technical teams to ensure security controls are effectively designed and implemented
• Identifying opportunities to improve security processes, policies and operational capability
• Supporting emerging areas including AI governance and evolving cyber risk

About You

You will be an experienced information security professional who combines strong cyber knowledge with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in Information Security / Cyber Security leadership roles
• Experience operating within enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of security governance, risk and compliance
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NIST, SOC2 or similar
• Ability to engage confidently with technical teams, senior leaders, customers and auditors
• Experience managing security risks, controls and assurance activities
• A broad understanding across multiple cyber security domains
