Fullstack/Backend Engineer - Finance

Senior Software Engineer 
9-month daily rate contract | Enterprise environment 

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a high-performing technology team working on modern, business-critical digital platforms.
You’ll be involved in a strong mix of hands-on development, solution design and modernisation, working across .NET, APIs, cloud and contemporary front-end technologies.
This is a great contract for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern engineering practices and having genuine input into how solutions are designed and delivered.

What you'll be doing
  • Design and develop modern, scalable .NET applications and APIs
  • Build reliable, secure and highly available solutions
  • Work across web applications, microservices and integration solutions
  • Contribute to technical design and application modernisation
  • Work closely with developers, architects and business stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot complex application and production issues
  • Help improve engineering standards, automation and development practices
What we're looking for
  • Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#
  • Solid experience with SQL Server and modern API development
  • Experience with React and/or Angular and TypeScript
  • Good understanding of microservices and modern web architecture
  • Experience working with Azure and Azure DevOps
  • Exposure to automated testing and modern CI/CD practices
  • Comfortable working in an Agile enterprise environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Experience with areas such as APIM, Terraform, observability tooling, PowerShell or cloud security would be advantageous but isn't essential.
