We’re seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Azure Data Factory and SSIS to play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising the data integration and migration pipelines that underpin this transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SSIS to consolidate data from multiple legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to define integration patterns and data migration strategies.
  • Develop and optimise SQL scripts, stored procedures, and data models to support analytical and operational reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across all migration and consolidation processes.
  • Implement monitoring, documentation, and governance across all data flows.
  • Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance data pipelines for performance and reliability.
  • Support the broader data transformation roadmap by contributing to best practices and continuous improvement.
About You
You’re an experienced data engineer who thrives on transforming complex legacy systems into modern, streamlined data environments. You’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of Azure technologies and enterprise data integration practices.
Key skills and experience:
  • 7–10 years’ experience in data engineering or ETL development within complex enterprise settings.
  • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
  • Experience migrating or consolidating data from legacy on-prem systems to Azure-based platforms.
  • Knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and related Azure data services.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
