Job Objective
Lead the design, implementation, and management of Azure cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT security, and modern workplace technologies across VWFS Australia. Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient cloud services while enabling productivity through Microsoft 365 and Copilot integration. Act as a subject matter expert in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure automation, and digital collaboration. Support traditional IT infrastructure and system administration as a secondary responsibility, ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-prem environments.  
    
Tasks
Cloud Architecture & Operations
·      Design and deploy Azure-based solutions for infrastructure, networking, and application hosting
·      Manage Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, identity, and governance
·      Monitor cloud performance, cost optimization, and scalability
Security & Compliance
·      Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and controls
·      Manage identity and access using Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
·      Integrate and manage Zscaler cloud security services for secure internet and SaaS access
·      Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud to protect against threats across devices, email, and cloud workloads
·      Implement Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and information protection, including DLP, Insider Risk Management, and eDiscovery
·      Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response
·      Lead system hardening initiatives across cloud and on-prem environments
·      Oversee patch management lifecycle for OS, applications, and firmware
·      Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, GDPR, and VWFS global security standards
Microsoft 365 & Copilot Enablement
·      Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
·      Support deployment and adoption of Copilot for Microsoft 365, enabling AI-powered productivity across departments
·      Train users and IT staff on Copilot capabilities, governance, and responsible use
·      Ensure secure integration of M365 with identity and device management platforms
·      Manage SharePoint site architecture, permissions, and content lifecycle
·      Oversee Exchange Online mail flow, retention policies, and threat protection
Strategic Planning & Governance
·      Collaborate with IT leadership to define cloud, automation, security, and digital workplace roadmaps
·      Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
·      Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, security protocols, and disaster recovery
Traditional Infrastructure & Support
·      Support and maintain on-prem systems including Windows servers, Active Directory, Citrix, and VMware
·      Administer firewalls, proxies, and network infrastructure in line with VWFS standards
·      Participate in after-hours support and production change rollouts
·      Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing
·      Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
 
Education, Certifications & Experience
·      Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
·      Minimum 7 years in IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and security operations
·      Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher
·      Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (preferred)
·       Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
