Change Specialist

About The Role:
 
We’re partnering with a large, complex retail organisation undergoing a fundamental transformation across a variety of core business functions, where the scale and complexity of change is significant.
This role sits upstream of delivery, shaping clarity, readiness and future ways of working before change lands in the business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Leading deep change impact assessments across Merch, Supply Chain, Finance and adjacent functions
  • Mapping current → future ways of working, including role impacts, capability gaps and behavioural shifts
  • Quantifying the size and nature of change (not just listing activities)
  • Designing and facilitating workshops to validate future states and build genuine ownership
  • Acting as a challenge partner to Tech and Delivery teams where plans won’t work operationally
  • Designing an end-to-end Merch-specific change journey for a large-scale transformation
  • Engaging early with senior leaders, SMEs and change champions
  • Working closely with store-facing change roles to ensure end-to-end alignment from design to rollout
What we’re looking for
  • Strong analytical and structured thinker
  • Background in enterprise change, business transformation, BA or process design
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and turning complex, messy inputs into clear direction
  • Confident operating in ambiguity and shaping clarity early
  • Commercial mindset — understands how change impacts performance, not just people
  • End-to-end change experience (from analysis and design through to rollout)
