Business Analyst

The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurer undergoing significant transformation across their claims platforms and operating model. This role sits at the intersection of claims operations, technology, and process design, translating real-world claims requirements into scalable system and platform solutions.
You’ll work closely with claims leaders, product, technology, and vendors to ensure the platform genuinely supports better outcomes for customers, assessors, and the business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit and document end-to-end Life Insurance claims requirements 
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and non-functional system requirements
  • Define process flows, business rules, and data requirements
  • Partner with claims operations to map current-state and design future-state processes
  • Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Vendors to embed requirements into the platform
  • Support configuration and optimisation of claims systems, including workflow, rules engines, and automation
  • Ensure solutions align to compliance, risk, and governance obligations
  • Contribute to UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
  • Act as a trusted bridge between business and technology
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong experience in Life Insurance claims (essential)
  • Proven background in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, or Process Design
  • Hands-on experience translating claims requirements into system and platform solutions
  • Solid understanding of claims workflows, decisioning, and assessments
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and claims leaders
  • Experience with claims platforms, workflow tools, or core insurance systems is highly regarded
